HARUM WHO?
A hybrid of sorts, HC represents a melting pot of influences:
Tokic (Hard Rock & Funk); Jimmy (Blues & Psychadelia); Boothy (Jazz & Hip Hop); Bez Man (Absolutely Anything!)
The result is a driving, feel-good sound, one that threatens to whet the appetite of rock and pop enthusiasts alike.
The Cross' songs reveal a celebration of music in its most simple form. A passionate escape route from the daily grind. An honest account of the pressures, experiences, loves and hates that have crossed their paths. On face value, HCs music is a performance of catchy riffs & choruses.
Making a mark on Sydney's originals pub scene, HC has thus far plied its trade from Balmain to Bondi, Stanmore to Surry Hills. Come and sample the recipe at a watering hole near you. Feel fine as you dine, you just might enjoy the taste!

In their first recording, Harum Cross step right up to the mike with the vibrancy of a band at the height of their powers. They play catchy AM rock with a twist, anchored in rhythm and blues, flavoured with funk, psychedelic, hip hop and other influences stretching back five decades and reaching out into the future.
The sound is both familiar and surprising - songs you almost know and wish you knew better. Their tunes combine balmy, playful grooves with skittering guitars, rhythms by turns sultry and locomotive and warm vocals you can wrap yourself up in. Listen and mentally you will be heading to the coast, windows down, beer in hand, elbow to the breeze, speakers cranking.
Live, the four-piece are just as appealing, playing an infectious, vigorous show and clearly loving what they're doing. Original songs - and the occasional worthy cover - pick you up and carry you along. This is music you can't help but dance to.
