About Me
Timetheus Blount aka Heaven Sake was born on May 3, 1980 in Greenville, NC by Betty R. Blount and Lennon O. Blount. He was raised with his 3 other brothers in the Kearney Park Projects where his closest relatives lived also. By the age of 5, Timetheus mother and father decided to go there separate ways but at the time he never paid it much attention because he spent time with his father very often. By the time Timetheus turned 9 he started to realize that his father had moved on because of his lack of visibility, when his father decided to introduce him and his brothers to his new wife. Suddenly, his relationship with his father started to become very distant. Timetheus started to be bothered by the broken promises his father will make him, where he started to be a problem child in school, picking up some very bad habits from things he was witnessing at home such as drug use, alcohol abuse, profanity, etc. Timetheus lived in poverty over more than half of his life being on welfare throughout his childhood. By the time Timetheus turned 14, he was pretty much use to not seeing his father, he lost 2 very close relatives and some close friends, he was getting suspended from junior high every other week, he was having sex, he was hanging with the wrong crowd, and he, his brothers, and mom got kicked out of there apt. because his mother started to get strong out on drugs; not to mention him and his brothers were active in church since there early childhood singing in the choir at Philippi Church of Christ. Later, his brothers went and stayed with his dad but Timetheus always wanted to stick by his mom, so he never went to stay with his dad because by that time their relationship had turned sour. So as years passed, Timetheus begun high school where he played basketball which later became the sport he decided he wanted to pursuit, but his grades were very poor and that didn’t last too long but in high school his popularity begun to rise very rapidly due to his charm with the young ladies and his focus on his grades begun to stagger. Slowly but surely, Timetheus started skipping school to go and smoke weed and get drunk and hang on the block with the fellows where he started to involve himself in gang activities such as drive by shootings, serious assaults on innocent people, hanging out wee hours in the morning. Timetheus had more than opportunity to do these things because by that time his mom was never home. Timetheus street reputation and creditability for robbing, fighting, selling drugs, and shooting became very transparent in the Greenville areas. When Timetheus turned 17 years of age, he caught his 1st charge which was serious assault on a guy at a party where he spent a weekend in jail. This was not the 1st assault charge and it was far from his last. By the time he hit 19 years old he was packing a gun every where he went, he dropped out of high school, his mom couldn’t control him, he was hooked on drugs and alcohol, he was breaking in people’s houses, cursing out the police, stealing from stores, and had developed a street name called Smoke Screen, which became his rap name in the streets. When these things occurred, Timetheus haven’t stepped a foot in a church in over 5 years. At the age of 20, Timetheus was getting kicked out of his mother’s house every other month for being disrespectful, but at the time he didn’t care because he had waxed cold hearted. In November of 2000, Timetheus Blount made front page in the newspaper for having a loaded gun on the property of Rose Highschool. He was sentenced to 18 months probation after serving time in jail for a warrant that was added to his charges for a simple assault. After this happened his mom kicked him out of the house permanently, when he moved in with his girlfriend. In 2001, Timetheus was shot in the ankle after leaving the studio. He was hospitalized and released that same day. The walls started to close in on Timetheus because he had done so much dirt that it was catching up with him. Later him and his girlfriend went there separate ways after a long relationship of fighting, shacking, arguing, manipulation, hurt, pain, struggling, and strife. Timetheus became homeless at the end of 2001 and began to go from house to house trying to find somewhere to sleep, but he ran out of places to go and ended up sleeping in abandoned houses, tennis court bathrooms, outside at freezing temperatures, in cars, and sneaking in other people homes just to sleep. He didn’t have anything to eat, no family nor friend support. Timetheus started to contemplate suicide because he didn’t see no way out of his problems. Suddenly, he started to talk to God on a regular basis about help. Timetheus started to get more in debt, nothing to eat but a bag of 25 cent chips out of a whole day and sometimes nothing to eat, but 1 day Timetheus talked to God about 3 hours straight and told the lord if He got him out of what he was in he will give it all up. Slowly, God started to change things around and 1 Sunday He led him to Mt. Carmel Christian Church and Timetheus got saved that same day, but as he got back around in the streets, he returned to his vomit and more trouble came and he got locked up and his pastor bailed him out of jail and talked to him and Timetheus shared a lot with his pastor that he was never able to get off of his chest. He finally found somewhere to stay and he started to get drunk 1 day and a strange thing happened; instead of writing the type of music he will usually write, he started writing Christian raps. He became more active in his church but 1 day on Feb. 18th of 2005 when he was walking to his probation officer’s office something said, Come to me and he felt something on the inside of him say I want my family back, and him and his x girlfriend reacquainted and now are married. Now that Heaven Sake has been delivered from drugs and alcohol, he has become a youth advisor at his church and working on becoming a minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ but in the meanwhile, Heaven Sake ministers in his rap music. In August of 2006, Heaven Sake, dropped his debut album titled Me, Myself, and God. He has also started a label, Frontline Music Ministries, where he has put together singing, miming, and rapping to form 1 big team of worshippers of Jesus Christ. Heaven Sake produces, composes, graphic designs, engineer music and has ministered locally and other cities and states. His music, through the glory of God, has changed many, touched many, influenced many, and helped win many to Christ. In June of 2007, Heaven Sake, dropped his sophomore album titled No Love Like His, that has been an inspiration to young troubled teens by sharing some personal testimonies of his own that God brought him out of. Him and his wife are currently working on a building project that helps young teens learn more about Jesus, learn more about having their priorities in order, and how to communicate with others on a positive and godly manner. Heaven Sake is also working on his 3rd album titled I Owe Praise, that will be released in the summer of 2008. Heaven Sake has performed with artist like ATL’s finest, Dice Gamble, gospel singer, Cynthia “La Soul†Jones, the Unknown Warriors out of ATL, Crucified Saints out of ATL. Many goals and accomplishments have been reached by Heaven Sake by the rewards that he will receive in Heaven but now Heaven Sake is working towards making more of an impact on a worldwide and international scale because eyes have not seen, ears have not heard but he prays that it has entered your hearts to give him the chance and the opportunity to reach millions and billions with the ministry God has placed in him.
