Chozen Vesselz, the hip-hop group was formed in the fall of 2000 in Goldsboro, N.C., It is
composed of Michael Clark a.k.a. Yahini the Elect and Jermaine Eaddy a.k.a. Reo
Grand. Chozen Vesselz main focus and mission statement is to: Share the Gift of God
to all Men. Their message, combined with music, emphasizes the truth about God and the condition of the
world today. Chozen Vesselz strive for a multi-dimensional approach in their music. "Our
lyrics cover a variety of spiritual and social issues that are relayed over
urban soundscapes."
Both members of Chozen Vesselz have been called out of darkness to share the
marvelous news of the kingdom . "Hailing from different back grounds, our music is designed to touch and influence a wide range of people from drug dealers and users, to high school
students, dropouts, to college graduates, the workforce, and even for those who dont
know their purpose in life".
Chozen Vesselz have performed, spoken, and ministered at several
places throughout the East Coast including: I Believe You Can Fly Youth Conference held at
North Carolina State University, Rap Fest in the Bronx, N.Y., Holy Hip Hop
Awards 2003 in Atlanta, Georgia, Life Music Christian Fellowship in Baltimore,
Maryland, SonShine Fest at the University of North Carolina at Asheville, God-Fest 2003
in Goldsboro, North Carolina, Youth of the Nation/Campus Crusade with Greg Devries
(former Teen Mania Speaker), the Internal Expo in Morganton, North Carolina, and
various clubs and Churches in the North Carolina and Virginia area. They also get
constant air play on 102.9 FM WELS radio in Kinston, North Carolina.
