HotFreeLayouts Starting out at a very young age Yolaina knew she had a talent different from everyone else. It almost seems like I came out singing as far as I remember I have been singing. From making up songs about everything around me, to free styling with my older siblings, just anything to get my mind out of our real lives, anything that would keep my mind in the happy places. Yolaina grew up the youngest out of four, in a very different family. Her family experiences made Yolaina reach out and try to find an outlet, an escape; this was in music and also seemed to be the common outlet between her and her siblings. They made connections with music and used it to their advantage.The first public experience Yolaina encountered was at the age of about seven or eight. This was her first audition for the fourth grade school chorus at Ashfield School. Yolaina remained in this chorus until as long as they would allow her. By the time Junior High came around little miss Yolaina found her self something she could lose her self in something that she felt completed her and indulged in it. Anything involving the arts or music she joined, school chorus, gospel choir, variety shows all the school plays and every talent show. I had fans, and I loved it, they made me want keep going, their encouragements made me want to expand my skills and get better and better! Throughout all of this there was even some RAPPING! (That doesnt mean it was good though!) Also during this time Yolaina was introduced to the Handel and Hyden society which focused on developing you musicians through classical training. By the time Yolaina went to high school she was accepted into the H&H Society and was still deeply involved in many groups as normal and was also accepted to the Boston Arts Academy, a performing arts high school in Boston. Although initially Yolaina did not welcome the idea of meeting new people and making new friends all in a new high school, she fell right into place. Within the first month Yolaina had joined a group 1Luv while taking private voice lessons, theory and piano lessons, besides the extra homework for school and mandatory after school rehearsals, Yolaina found time for late night rehearsals and church rehearsals also. Within the next school year 1Luv ended and MYST began. Mysterious Yet Still True consisted of a group of young ladies Yolaina, Kia , Tiffany, Toya and Kittles. The grouped evolved into best friends had many fallouts and make ups and finally spun out to a complete break up. One member left and the group became Mended with the remaining four members the group went on to a couple of shows but decided to go their separate ways. After taking a long break going to school, moving on her own and working, Yolaina finally decides to go on her way with her own music, shes on the rise and on her way look out Boston!
