Once again, Producer Chad Donohue of Dominant Entertainment brings you a brutal Black Metal influenced project for your listening pleasure.
Shortly after the Post-poning of Romania’s full-length album “Romania A.D.†the project was cancelled indefinitely.
“I decided to toss that project when I realized the difficulty I was going to have putting the live project together…its do-able, but every keyboard player in this city is either a pompous mother fucker or a music nazi…I cant stand people like that, plus no one understood the fundamentals of black metal. So we chucked the keyboards in the trash and started a new live project.â€
Due to Malicious Harbingers lack of references to God and Satan or any Biblical references at all, the project can’t completely claim the realm of Black Metal. Instead the Lyrics and Imagery depicted in the songs take a more futuristic approach. The music maintains its Black/Death roots but focuses on subjects ranging from bioresearch to futuristic warfare and destruction on a universal scale.
“Its not like – yea! Satan rules! Cuz honestly I don’t believe in Satan so to me it was pointless to keep writing about it…most of the songs are about the atrocities and sadness that mankind creates for themselves, and the timeless idea of species inevitably creating their own destruction. I took that idea and created storylines for songs that range from modern day to thousands of years in the future…we all know history repeats itself.â€
