Keleidoscope of Consciousness

About Me

I don't really know what to tell you about myself. I don't like to generalize. I'm a small girl in a big world with a haunted past and an indefinable future. I live in South Florida with my girl and our roommate (and three cats). I worked for Starbucks for five years, was finally fired by a manipulative, incompetent manager. I've never been so relieved. Although it's amusing because I really should have been fired as a teenager but this time was a witch hunt. Now I'm a server at a seafood grill in Boca. It's very obvious I have no idea what I'm doing, but all I can do is try. I've a very deep interest in varying levels of consciousness and different methods of thought and perception. I meditate. I go to school. I work. I screw things up on more occasions than I'd like to admit. If it's one thing I've learned it's that anything I use to define myself will inevitably change.I edited my profile at Freeweblayouts.net , check out these Myspace Layouts!

If you fit this quote, chances are we'll get along: "We who wore the sign might justly be considered "odd" by the world; yes, even crazy, and dangerous. We were aware or in the process of becoming aware and our striving was directed toward achieving a more and more complete sense of awareness while the striving of the others was a quest aimed at binding their opinions, ideals, duties, their lives and fortunes more and more closely to those of the herd. There, too, was striving, there, too, were power and greatness. But whearas we, who were marked, believed that we represented the will of Nature to something new, to the individualism of the future, the others sought to perpetuate the status quo" ~Herman Hesse

This is a post about how much I hate my job. I was seventeen when hired to Starbucks, and I thought it was cool. I was the youngest on staff, and it made me feel cool. Five years later it's not so coo...
