André Lodemann

Andre Lodemann was born in a little town in the former German Democratic Republik. Around the time of the German Reunification Lodemann is involved in the East Berlin techno and trance scene.1990 he purchases his first set of Technics MKII and starts his DJ career. The American influence has a deep impact on his music style, as he discovers Soul, Funk and Hip-Hop and finally finds his way to House music. His House sets are since deep and funky. His music becomes more than just danceable rhythms. He discovers the emotional and spiritual depth of Deep House. His musical vision is to create an atmosphere, arouse emotions and touch people. Often misunderstood in Germany, his sets are welcomed and acknowledged in the European House scene. 1999 Lodemann starts producing House tracks. In 2004 his first track E-Movement EP comes out on Moods & Grooves Records, a Detroit Deep House label. A year later he remixes tracks for Rodney Hunter on G-Stone Recordings and for [re:jazz] on INFRAcom! Recordings. Both remixes are well recognized in the House scene and consolidate his own sound. Lodemann helps shaping the well-received Deep House night „Our House“ in a Berlin Mitte Club BOHANNON as its resident DJ in 2005/2006. Besides his international gigs, he regular dj-guest in Berlin clubs such as Weekend, Cookies, Café Moskau, Tape, Watergate.
