André Alabaster

In 1999 he formed the german Band Expretus with Sebastian Golla. The first performance of Expretus was in 2000. Since then, the Band playedinnumerable shows in Germany, Chech Republic and France, as well as supporting artists and bands such as Pink Turns Blue, DasIch, Letzte Instanz, Invisible Spirit, and so on. Expretus are notable for their charismatic and unpredictable live shows. Thefirst CD "Gezeitenrausch"was released in September 1999. The following years, Expretus released three more CDs (Spiegelsaal 2000,electro.technic 2002, Borderline Red 2006) until today. The current CD Borderline Red is released on the UpArt/Brachialpop Labelof Die Art and Wissmut singer Makarios. André Alabaster is also a accessory of the open tribal noise project scatology withroberTron. The project works with alien textfragments in a fluid structure. As well as being a songwriter/vocalist, André travelsaround to do musical reading sessions with roberTron since 2005. They set Franz Kafkas Ein Hungerkünstler to music. With thispiece they are on the way in Germany at present. The solo-work of André is a more song-based territory.
