About Me

Electronic duo Attika has expanded and is now: Mat Cook, Ben Philcox, Alex Gray and James Shephard. Mat and Ben met for the first time in their GCSE music class at school. Many years passed before a chance meeting in the pub and a long chat about music aspirations led to a get together and a fusion of ideas for some music. They are now enjoying the company of Alex and Sheps who make up the full guitar based Shoegazing sound that is Dawn Chorus Ignites.

Sounds Like: Their Shoegazing extrordinarika sound consists of a mixture of complex textures combined with sweet melodies and often dark undertones. Ethereal chord progressions and sudden dynamic intensity give Dawn Chorus Ignites a truly eclectic sound.
