Emmaline's second full-length CD release entitled Just a Cherry was released in November of 2005. Just a Cherry finds Emmaline (pronounced (em-a-leen) exploring some new territory musically while keeping her exceptional vocals front and center and maintaining her dedication to the groove.
Her intelligent, groove-infused pop has gained the attention of labels and management companies in the states and elsewhere. Just a Cherry was nominated for R&B Recording of the Year at the 2006 Minnesota Music Awards, and a song from Just a Cherry was chosen for a UK compilation called The Greatest Music You’ve Never Heard, Vol. 2.
The Emmaline Muchmore live band toured the UK last summer along with local bands S.O.B., N.U.M.B., Enigma Design, and more. Emmaline and the boys rocked the joints and towns, sometimes blowing power before the show even started.
Distorted
Description: Hollywood, Minnesota became the hub of movie making in August 2006. Much like Hollywood, California one hundred years ago, this rural community in Minnesota provided the ranch land that was not only picture perfect, but without expensive shooting rights fees. Film maker Natasha Bedu traveled from LA to produce, direct, and shoot the video for Emmaline Muchmore's song, "Distorted" (from the Just a Cherry release) along with co-director, Adam Honzl. Three horses and one barn cat excitedly watched parts of the 35 millimeter film shoot ensue in their barn. Cast as Emmaline's love interest in the video was her collaborator, Todd Mikkelson.

Bessie
Description: This video for "Bessie" (from the CD release "Inviolate" - 2001) was shot on location in a small town in central Minnesota. There are also scenes at a mysterious abandoned house on the prairie. The interior bar scene was shot at the TURF CLUB in St. Paul, which was a main stay for both Emmaline and her creative partner, Todd Mikkelson, in the late 1990s. The video was conceived by Emmaline, and produced, directed, and shot by Todd in September, 2000. It also stars both of them and a few shots of Todd's nephews and his brother's car.
