You want to interest me... ...give me an afternoon with three good books to devour, self filling cafetieres of fine brazillian coffee, a table in the sun, my giant jackie o's, a bowl of green queen olives, some sparking water, a chilled pino grigio, and my walkman, with a mix tape made for me by someone wonderful, before the dawn of the coded letter/number machines that sound track this generation. ...give me a stage to perform on, and a response from an audience, big or small, laughter or tears, the buzz of that conversation is intimate, electric, and infinate. ...give me some paper to scribble on, and a pen, (preferably one that works) and a few hours to while away, telling tales and doodling pictures. ...give me a stack of glossies and a telephone to call my friend and dissect tabloid tales, and the cut of the season. ...give me a gas flame and some fresh fruits of the earth, some flesh and some mouths to feed. ...give me all of this and i just might be interested... but I am easily bored.
It would be wicked to get into conversation with... Jesus, Joanne Rowling, Alan Cumming, Julie Walters, Rimbaud, Arthur Miller, Mike Myers, Malcolm Middleton, Dawn French, Stephen Fry, James Ellis, Jack Kerouac, Michael McClure, Allen Ginsberg, Johnny Depp, William Blake, Rick Stein, Roger McGough, The Hairy Bikers, Tori Amos, Martha Wainwright, Pete from Big Brother, Adam Duritz, Frank Warren, T.S.Elliot, Bill Murray, Murray Lachlan Young, Maggie Gylenhaal, Charlotte Church, Edith Bowman, Augusto Boal, Gordon Ramsey, Tyra Banks, Lily Allen, and Jonathan Ross.

I am a bit rubbish when it comes to films to be honest, I have found a genre I am comfortable with and I have pretty much stuck to it - 1980's kids films my favourite film of all time is The Goonies, also like Flight of the Navagator, Inner Space, Pretty in Pink, and D.A.R.Y.L (or however you spell it). Still attempting to find a grown up film I enjoy just as much, but I am working on it.
I tend to have a worse taste in television than anything else... In my hands the remote control usually siddles on to, Living for CSI, ANTM, Will & Grace, Charmed, and Dead Famous, E4 for Lost, Hollyoaks, Shipwrecked, and Friends, BBC for Jonathan Ross, Master Chef, The Apprentice, Never Mind the Buzzcocks, and Dr Who, and Discovery Home and Health Channel for Extreme Makeover - Home Edition. New fav dross - Ghost Whisperer with Jennifer Love my pretty dresses Hewitt...
...are great, especially ones with words in!
Margo Leadbetter, Joanne Rowling, Vivienne Westwood, and my Nana...
