First and foremost I am Saved, Sanctified and I have the precious gift of the Holy Ghost. I was born in Flushing Queens NY. To Mary McElveen Burris and the late Charles Burris. I went to high school in SC. I now live in Charlotte NC. I am married to Arthur Rogers and I am a Christian mother of 5 children there names are Cedric, Mia, Kamisha, Iva, Joseph and I have 1 granddaughter Janiyah. I am a licensed Evangelist. The Lord is doing a great work in my life. I thank Him for what He has already done. I love good gospel singing, (mainly choir singing), I love to preach the Gospel of Christ, I love dancing for the Lord. I have been through alot just like you. I know the Lord has called me for such a time as this. I never wanted to preach. I was fine cleaning the church bathrooms, cooking, ushering, singing on the choir carrying the pastors briefcase, going into the hospitals, nursing homes, praying for the sick, or where the Lord told me to go. I have been saved for over 20 years. I am the first to confess that I have not been good all those years but, I refuse to let the enemy hold anything over me because it is under the BLOOD!!! God has been so good to me! My favorite scriptures are Jeremiah 32:27 "Behold I am the Lord the God of all flesh, is there anything too hard for me"? and Romans 8:31 "What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?" and my favorite story is about Hannah. She was barren, misunderstood, teased but, instead of giving up, throwing in the towel or reacting like the enemy would have, Hannah prayed! She wanted a baby! She didn't laugh at the promise or say give me a child else I die! Hannah prayed! Whatever you are going through, it didn't come to stay, it came to pass!
