About Me

I'm a small town girl from Northern Maine (may as well be Canada and yes I can speak French...but its the broken down version). I joined the USAF when I was 17....moved around all over the country and have finally settled here in Phoenix - for now anyway. Not sure how much longer I will be here in the Southwest though, it's to dang hot here! Plus I miss my family and the water and trees/grass!! I will eventually head back east (just not sure when just yet), preferably NC or VA. We'll see. I'm sure I'll be scouting those locations within the next few years.I love love love hanging out with my awesome friends and meeting new people too! I have a great family back in Maine, just wish I was able to see them more. I like to party ...but my life doesn't revolve around it. During the week I'm a Grandma - I really don't do a whole lot besides work, go to school, & work out; however I do like to hit up happy hours on occasion and watch horrible tv (reality tv shows...they're my guilty pleasure...I'm addicted)! On the weekends I like to sit out by the pool with some drinkies, go on little outdoory adventures, camping, party it up with my girls, dinners, floating down Salt River, going to the Movies (just starting to grow on me since its so stinking hott out), and the list goes on and on! I'll try ALMOST anything once.

I love to travel. I try to get out of town at least once a month (cash flow permitting). This year my goal is to try snowboarding - CO here I come!! I wanna learn to golf too. I am very competitive... I also like to work out, whether it's Spinning, Kick boxing, Step Areobics, or weight lifting..I like it all. I sometimes just like chillen at home with Coco (kitty)! I try to go clubbing at least once or twice a month with my girls...but when were not doing that...we usually are laughing are asses off! Think you can hang? LOL

I'd like to meet:

I'm just looking to catch up with friends. I thoroughly enjoy all of the people in my life at this point! I'm not saying I don't want to meet more people, but I'm not planning ..ing friendships online. I'm kind of old-fashioned in a way!

Music:

I'm pretty openminded when it comes to music. I like Hip Hop when I'm out clubbing, Techno when I'm working out, country when I just chillen having a beer, top 40 when I'm at work, and Rock (new/old) while driving cross country! Beyonce, Taylor Swift, CCR, Creed, Shania Twain, Rascall Flatts, Carrie Underwood, Chris Daughtrey, Sugarland, Nickelback, Billy Currington, only to name a few.

Movies:

Anything Comedy. I like Adam Sandler. Dumb & Dumber is one of my favorite movies. I also like chick flicks - The Notebook! Typical girl I guess you could say! I don't like watching stuff that's hard to follow. Watching movies should not be a chore. LOL

Television:

I'm a reality TV junkie and I'm pretty sure that I'm obsessed with Sex and the City! I also like the Girls Next Door, ALL the makeover shows, The Real World, Bachelor, Decision House, Flip that House, and anything on E! and TLC!

Books:

More Goodbye CommentsJust recently started reading ALOT more. It's all about self-improvement!! I love magazines though: Cosmo (the Bible for women), US, People, and the $1.99 gossip mags at the check out counter at the grocery store!
