Born and raised in Long Beach, California Cashis Clay got started early in music. Being the youngest of 8 children who's parents were both ordained ministers, Clay was first exposed to music in the church. Not to mention, his parents and just about all his siblings possess some type of musical talent. So as a young boy Clay knew he wanted to do music. " I mean I always knew I would be a producer because I love the creative process of building a beat from start to finish; not to mention, working with different artist whether it be R&B, hip hop or rap inspires me to create because each artist brings a different type of energy and I love that".
