Martin Fogarty aka Anomoli is a Eugene/ Salem mc and a graduate of the University of Oregon. His debut album, "Chinese Descent" has been a breath of fresh air for the underground hip hop scene. Combining smooth delivery, clever rhymes, and up-tempo beats by Grandrap, Anomoli managed to put together a substantial and telling album respected by hip hop heads around the community. Anomoli began his road along Hip hop Avenue freestyling with the KidEspi, Saltene, and TDub over 40's of old E, beers, and whiskey. He attributes his success to the overwhelming amount of hate he has encountered. Being half Chinese and Irish, Anomoli has experienced a paramount and heightened level of discrimination being born in the "conservative capital of the U.S." (Keizer, Oregon). Many of his songs featured on his debut album reflect his constant struggle with being born a minority, poor, and with a limited means of support. The album also reflects his aspirations, political views, and regrets welcoming the listener into a world that without hip hop, would have most likely gone on without knowing. Anomoli is also an actor appearing in the student film, "The Rampers" directed by U of O graduate film student Allen Luebke. Luebke is also responsible for filming the KidEspi music videos and upcoming documentary of Garden Entertainment. Search "Youtube" to view the movie.
