I'd like to meet:
norah jones. seriously. actually, mostly musicians, just for the sake of playing music. movie/tv "stars" are mostly so full of themselves, when in reality, they're just normal people whose jobs are to be someone they aren't. well, poop on that. and i would love to hang out for a day with weird al. i mean, come on, who wouldn't?
Music:
uh, little bit of a lot. no gangsta rap, but hip hop is ok. no new country, but old fashioned country gospel is fine. new rock sucks, but i'll take some grunge rock. 80's hits, sure. i wish i played more like david crowder, but my personal playing style is more like mazzy star meets early ben lee. how about some van morrison? squirrel nut zippers? can someone please bring back ska? minibosses!!! brian setzer, harry connick jr, neko case, tift merritt, matthew sweet, medeski martin and wood, robert randolph, weird al, damien rice, miss angie, audio adrenaline, oc supertones, johnny cash, willie nelson, patsy cline, and too many others to name here.
Movies:
Tripod perform at a Comedy Festival
i like movies. i like them a lot. name it, i might have seen it. same faves? mirrormask, boondock saints, singles, gremlins, goonies, transformers, uhf, v for vendetta, 5th element, little shop of horrors, my fair lady, elf, swingers, spiderman, death to smoochy, and i don't feel like doing this anymore...
Television:
i don't watch tv per se, however, on dvd, i do enjoy my name is earl, teen titans, friends, house, yu yu hakusho, outlaw star, tenchi muyo, arrested development, and i hope to catch that new show heroes.
Books:
i like to read. personally, i'm a big c.s. lewis fan. i'm trying to read more fiction, but after reading non-fiction for so long, it's kinda hard.
Heroes:
peter parker, does he count?i dunno, i guess whoever is willing to take what little we really have in life and use it for others, for love, for the cross.
