i cant say everybody likes my music taste, some people havent even heard of some of the bands i listen to. for those of you who dont know, muse are my favourite band; matthew bellamy is a god. i love pink floyd, ive been listening to them since i was born.kasabian are kings. johnny cash should have a statue built in his honour. bob dylan should be made a saint. the doors are legendary. the kinks are incredible. the chili peppers r amazing. radiohead are brilliant. jack johnson can always put a smile on my face. gomez can nearly live up to pink floyd for chill out music. other bands i like include: coldplay, damien rice, david gilmour, eels, gnarls barkley, guns 'n' roses, hard-fi, iggy pop, kaiser cheifs, kings of leon, led zeppelin, nirvana, oasis, placebo, queen, rolling stones, snow patrol, tenacious d, thom yorke, the verve, white stripes.

Movies:

i love a good film. anything dark and realistic, anything that can make me think ill enjoy. i hate it when the hero gets shot in the soulder but keeps on fighting. i like all sorts, if it can keep me guessing then ill enjoy it. i also really like japanese anime films. people tend to dismiss them cos theyre cartoons but theyre missing out, some of the best and most beutiful films ive ever seen are anime. a funny comedy film is also good, i could probably read you line for line of anything monty python because i just love it. ive got a bit of a taste for horror and gore as well, i love things like hostel and saw.

Dr. Gregory House, a fictional medical doctor portrayed by Hugh Laurie, is the protagonist of the television medical drama House. He is a maverick medical genius (often quoted as "medicine's most brilliant mind") who heads a team of young diagnosticians at the fictional Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital. He has been called a misanthrope and a curmudgeon in fact, "curmudgeon" was named one of the top television words of the year in honor of the character.However, a curmudgeon is someone with (among other things) "stubborn ideas or notions," and a careful analysis shows that House does not fit the archetype of a curmudgeon in this sense. He is much less opinionated than he is deductive, since he has very few principles of his own, and uses his astute reasoning skills to point out the inconsistency or unfoundedness of the opinions of others.His crankiness is commonly attributed to the chronic pain in his leg (the result of an infarction in one or more of the quadriceps muscles in his right thigh) for which he requires the aid of a cane, leading some to assign him the archetype of a "damaged person."[citation needed] However, according to former girlfriend Stacy Warner, he was "pretty much the same" before the infarction, another subtle but essential deviation from an archetype. It is later revealed that House's father was abusive, offering another reason for House's curmudgeonly behavior. He commonly expresses a profound and innate disappointment in the fallibility and inferiority of other people.House takes Vicodin frequently for the pain in his leg (and usually while dealing with a case that wastes his time or annoys him); whether he takes it too frequently was the subject of an entire episode ("Detox"). He agrees that he has an addiction, but when his boss, Cuddy, interprets this to mean he admits to having a problem, Dr. Wilson has to explain the difference to her. House claims the addiction is not a problem because it does not interfere with his life.
