About Me

This is the story of how Purgatory Bound came about. It started back in the summer of 1999. Your friend Bogus Trizzy was working as a baker at Dunkin Donuts. A girl he knew that some people remember as Kung-Foo Quinn, became program director at a local radio station called 90.3 WRIU. Well the gears cranked in young Bogus Trizzys head and he called his old friend Brian Greg to see if he was interested in taking on a 100% Juggalo radio show that Bogus would set up for them. Brian said yes and so it began. Not a month into it and they were on fire. The fan base for the Hatchet Show was growing larger and larger. The Hatchet Show was invited to a Bay State Mini-Gathering set up by Fuzzy Peach Faygo, they helped with what they could but they didnt want to overstep their boundaries. Towards the end of the night FPF asked us to help out more and keep it going strong. We made a juggalo dance party with a few pre mixed CDs from the show. The crowed loved it and we were on a roll. That night changed the whole Show forever. We met all the Newhampster people there and about a hundred others. They fell in love with the Hatchet show and the Hatchet Show loved them. But that party also brought us hate, hate from a lot of Baystate people for taking over their Mini-Gathering. Well with their newfound fame there were parties and drinking and love everywhere. Then it was on to RCW, Revolutionary Championship Wrestling (founded by Dizzy Straight, who you now know as Tony P). Tony P promoted RCW through the Hatchet Show. Juice and PK (other members of the Hatchet Show) wrestled for RCW and they brought Arkham down to do a few promotions there. While there, Arkham met D-Lex and Havik. Havik was a huge fan of the Hatchet Show. He listened from day one and soon became our friend and Arkhams co-host with Juice and Peeler. D-Lex was great at internet shit and he knew exactly what to do when it came to the Hatchet Show fans, he set up a merch store and he answered phones for us. After a while the Hatchet Show saw rough times and due to management problems with the station, the Hatchet Show had 2 strikes against them already. One day shortly before they were kicked off, Arkham Started writing a rhyme for the show called Runnin with the Wicked Shit. He called up Havik and let him hear it. Havik wanted to write something to the song and he did. It aired in March of 2003. After that many more songs came out between the two. They then formed a band called Bipolar and their first CD was slated to be Sebastian Anchor. The third strike was inevitable and soon followed. Juice after a night of sleeping in the studio woke up pissed about the noise and slammed the glass door shut, breaking it. They did what they could to clean it up but after reviews and WRIU meetings they were kicked off the airwaves forever. After they were kicked off the air there was a lot of time to write and thats what Bipolar did. D-Lex was also starting to write and so was Malice. Good ole Dunkin Donuts meetings, who can forget. Arkham sat everyone down and the plan was to put together a Psychopathics from outer space type album featuring songs from everyone; collaborations and singles and if everybody liked working with each other then maybe they could join forces and start this band thing together. Before half the words left Arkhams mouth Havik suggested that we just start this band shit together. Malice came up with the name and the rest is history. Purgatory Bound
