About Me

What about me? Hmm. Indeed. My heart is lonely. My tears are salty. I like to laugh. I could lose 10 pounds. I probably have a few dozen things I should be doing instead on sitting on myspace. I have an almost overwhelming fear of becoming the crazy spinster cat lady on my block. I always look for the moon when I step outside. I need a haircut. I drool in my sleep. I love my friends and family. I like to pay close attention to the changing seasons. Crunchy leaves. The smell of snow. I really like the ocean. I learned to surf recently. So great. I would like to live in San Diego someday. I want to learn how to live without so much fear. Get rid of some of my belongings. But not all of them.

My Interests

Doing random things with specific people. Letters. Why don't we write letters anymore? On paper. With pens. Or maybe a pencil. I miss letters.

I'd like to meet:

People who like all kinds of music and will come out and listen to some bands with me. People who will get to know me, flaws and all, and love me anyway. Friends and more friends. Someone to share life with in more than a friendly way. Surfers. Dreamers. People who are willing to leap before they look.

Music:

SUPPORT LOCAL MUSIC! Music is part of who I am. I have preferences of course, but I'll give anything a fair listen. I like to hear music I have never before heard. I surround myself with people who love and support music, and share their favorite sounds with me.

Movies:

Moonstruck and Say Anything define my unrealistic standards for love relationships with men. I like to go to the movies. IMAX is pretty cool. I like big screens and seats with arm rests that fold back for snuggling. I like most movie genres. Sweeping, historical, epic-type films aren't all that appealing to me, but I will go with a friend if they so desire. I have fallen asleep in theaters, often while watching the aforementioned epics. I don't go to the drive-in nearly often enough. I will work on that this summer.

Television:

Yes. I watch TV.

Books:

To Kill a Mockingbird is probably my favorite book. I read for pleasure as often as I can in between school books. Loan me your favorite book. I like to get inside of people's heads, and books reveal so much.

Heroes:

My mom. Elizabeth Bryant. Wonder Woman. Agent Scully.
