The renegade monkeys of the music industry, Beats and Styles, consists of two DJs/producers/artists Alimo & Control.
They started their career DJing and promoting underground dance parties in Finland in the 90's. After a record store, an own tv-show, a couple of radio shows and loads of big parties with international guest DJs, Alimo & Control went more seriously into making music.
Their approach has always been hands-on and do-it-yourself. They make their songs, productions, music videos, cover designs, everything by themselves. The creativity and courage to combine different styles of music has been slowly but surely making them more succesful all over the world.
Beats and Styles has had chart success in Finland, Sweden, Norway, Germany and Italy. Also releases are out in countries like Australia, South Africa, Greece, France, Poland, Ukraine and Spain. More territories are added all the time.
Beats and Styles is about being above the scenes and above the politics and above the restrictions our mind is setting to ourselves.
