I am here for Dating, Friends and Networking

About Me

I get told I'm tall. Often. I love the perceptive. I'm sometimes verbose, others pensive & tacit, depending on my mood and surroundings. I've been told I'm "adorkable" (thanks Micha). I get pegged as both old-fashioned and progressive, sometimes both at once. I like to keep myself "physically strong, mentally awake and morally..." well, something. I'll take a good time or an experience worth telling stories about years later over any thing mass-marketed and sold, any day of the week.

My Interests

Friends, Family, Unitarian Universalism, Tolerance & Equality - Period, Cooking, Running, Reading, Road Trips, Museums & Art Galleries, Dancing, Coffee Houses, History, Beadwork, Chess, ...Giving Life Meaning, Petrichor, The Spaces Between the Notes, Taking inane internet quizzes when I'm bored...

I'd like to meet:

Norman Borlog, Madeline Albright, Tavis Smiley, Dale Chihuly, Eddie Izzard, Kevin Smith, Joss Whedon, Aaron Sorkin, Warren Ellis, Ira Glass... Hey, you asked.

Those with some sense of aesthetics. The fun loving, adventure seeking, having a certain sense of humor and wit type - doesn't hurt either. Tolerant, open-minded folk. People who appreciate a good mishna every now and then. Anyone from my hometown or the East Coast. Fellow UUs are always welcome. Outliers, auslanders, aberrants and fellow browncoats. Anybody who wants to do something in Columbus that doesn't involve shopping at Easton/Polaris/whatever other commerce planet, or going to a sports bar, are always welcome.

Disclaimer on the "Friends" bit: If you are in a band and I don't know you - not happening. If you are looking to sling pron or add men to your thousands of friends list to gawk at/fawn over/make comments for you - no way. If you're just looking to win the myspace popularity contest, keep looking. If I don't know you, we've never met, etc. - send me a message, please don't automatically try to "friend" me.
