About Me

THE MOST TERRIFYING THING IN LIFE CAN SOMETIMES BE THE IMAGINATION. IT CAN MAKE US HEAR, AND SEE THINGS THAT DON'T EXIST. THE SIMPLE TELLING OF GHOSTS STORIES AROUND A CAMPFIRE CAN LEAVE YOU IMAGINING THE SNAPPING OF A TWIG UNDER THE WEIGHT OF SOMETHING LARGE, SEEING EYES LIKE TWO RED-HOT COALS GLARING AT YOU FROM THE SHADOWS OF THE FOREST, AND SMELL THE PUTRID ODOR EMITTING FROM SOMETHING LONG DEAD.BEING AN ASPIRING WRITER I'VE SET MY PAGE UP IN A STORYLIKE MANNER SO AS THE MUSIC PLAYS LET YOUR IMAGINATION GO. LET IT TO GUIDE YOU THROUGH THE CEMETERIES, AND CRYPTS, DOWN THE DARK CORRIDORS, ALONG THE DIMLY LIT PASSAGES, AND TUNNELS. WITH ENOUGH IMAGINATION THE HAIR ON YOUR NECK WILL STAND UP, YOUR BREATHING WILL COME IN GASPS AND YOUR HEART WILL BEGIN TO POUND IN ANTICIPATION OF WHAT MAY LURK IN THE SHADOWS OR WAIT AROUND EACH CORNER, AND BEHIND CLOSED DOORS. LISTEN CLOSE ENOUGH YOU MAY BE ABLE TO HEAR THE LEATHERY FLAPPING OF WINGS AS BATS DESCEND FROM THE STARLESS NIGHT SKY TO SWIRL AROUND YOU BEFORE DISAPPEARING INTO THE DARKNESS AGAIN, THEIR SCREECHES FILLING THE AIR OR THE TORMENTED HOWL OF A WEREWOLF, IT’S SILHOUETTE VISIBLE AGAINST THE FULL MOON. YOU MAY EVEN BE ABLE TO FEEL SOMETHING COLD, AND CLAMMY BRUSH AGAINST YOUR SKIN SENDING CHILLS UP YOUR SPINE. YES, THE IMAGINATION CAN BE AN AMAZING THING IF WE ALLOW IT TO RUN FREE.
