I live in NE Minneapolis with my husband, Aaron. I am currently a student at Centerpoint School of Therapeutic Massage & Shiatsu. I work as a chiropractic assistant in Uptown. I love my job, even though it's a lot of paper-pushing. Nice change of pace for me, at any rate. We have a shih tzu named Vinnie. He's precious. Still doing yoga. Also happy to report that I am an aunt again! My sister Renee and her husband Brandon had a little girl, Ava Rae Johnson!

My Interests

MySpace Layouts Myspace LayoutsTheatre. Acting. Reading plays. I have been in two shows since I moved here, August of 2005: Jesus Christ Superstar and Wonderful Town. I love to garden...second floor living now with a yard...Yoga. Reading. Still and always a bookworm. Writing. Painting.

I'd like to meet:

Jennifer Connelly because she's the most beautiful woman in the world and I will forever be in awe of her dancing scene with David Bowie in The Labyrinth. Margaret Atwood and Barbara Kingsolver for their writing. Judi Dench, Ralph Fiennes, Julie Taymor, and the friends I have yet to meet.

Music:

Tori Amos, Feist, Bird & the Bee, Diana Krall, Elbow, Doves, The Shins, Radiohead, Travis, Kent, Chopin, Beethoven, Debussy, and my husband tapping incessantly on things in which he deems 'percussive.' Yes, I married a drummer.

Movies:

Amelie, Proof, The Labyrinth, When Harry Met Sally, The Princess Bride, Batman, Batman Begins, High Fidelity, The 300, Pride & Prejudice, Vertigo, 40 Year Old Virgin, Frida, Scent of a Woman, La Dolce Vita...anything old-timey.

Television:

Six Feet Under, Rome, Sex & the City, pretty much any HBO series containing sex, violence and intruige...I'll watch it.

Books:

The Time Traveller's Wife, Memoirs of a Geisha, Prodigal Summer, A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, A Tale of Two Cities, Lord of the Rings Trilogy, The Harry Potter series, Complete Works of William Shakespeare (esp. King Richard III), A Wrinkle in Time, Bridge to Terabithia, I can go potty by Kermit the Frog, Van Gogh's Garden, and Old Turtle. The Handmaid's Tale, Oryx & Crake...both and anything by Margaret Atwood. The Namesake by Jhumpa Lahiri was great.
