Wooo Hoo!!!!!!
So we're finally myspaced! The last year has been a hectic one soo much going on personally, but "Were here now" and the album's ready "Bak 2 da Future" availible from SEPTEMBER in shops Pick it up!!!! XIT, remember the name!
Three ladies known as Detour, DaGeneral and Maytrikz, born and bred in the heart of North London, close friends since 11, after having a tuff childhood growing up through the struggle instead of going off the rails, we decided to express ourselves through the poetic expression known as rap. At 14 we started writing lyrics and since then we have been nurturing each other with writing, vocal and performance skills.
now at the tender age of 21 rolling on 22 the we truly believe its time 2 unleases the dragon so 2 say!!!The name XIT serves as a metaphor which symbolises the closing of one door and the opening of another, we believe that it illustrates our progression & that you have to XIT one situation to move on to the next, it's the only way that you can grow and progress : ) it's the chain of life!!!We've performed all over the UK ranging from Leicester, 2 Briton then back to Reading, getting transport to Luton then long journeys home to do shows in London- but we ain't throwing away the ticket!
05/06 we toured with DJ Skitz from (1 Xtra) promoting the 'Homegrown volume II album' which includes our spin off tune 'Jump on this beat' featuring a few known artistes that are hitting your radars! The experince of being on the roads with the team was sooo great!!! Big rankings 2 all the UK support we've had so far, you diffinanlty know how 2 get down ; )
Along the way we've supported various artists from Rahzel,Klashnekoff, Pariz 1 to the Jungle bros plus many more collabo's, connections & shows with up& coming people that are breaking through the industry N'chyx, BigBen, Lullaby, MC voltz, the list goes on......NOW that 'BACK2 THA FUTURE' is finished its time for the next adventure!!! the CD is available in most cd's stores in NORTH LDN, WESTEND& EAST hollaaaaaaa for any copies to go on playlist or for personal use!007 is here & we have to move with the times! BIGGER& BRIGHTER things are happening on the northside of town, from the begining of the year we've been performing at the HOTSPOTS networking agmost like minders, airing our 'Debut' anthem 'XITOLOGY' which has the video 2 & will be watchable any day now- plus more tracks from the mixtape on radio/internet radio & straight up latenights in the studio (BEST in north). We're currently working with some of NORTH LDN'S finest ;) making beautiful music :) & straight up BANGERZ.
Time has taught us lessons trust that one, time has grown us together&individually & timing will decide whats in store 4 everybody!!!!!
