Josh and the Purple Mullet

My perfect party would be a cocktail format with everyone dressed like mods totally out of place in some club like Fenix on Sunset. DJs spinning a combination of post punk, art punk and noise at a pitch to set ambiance but not interfere with conversation. There would be a three steps of separation invitation policy meaning if you have three steps of separation from me, you're invited. This would ensure there are plenty of new people to meet but still enough exclusivity that everyone would have something in common to talk about. Oh yea, and the party would absolutely go until it was time for bloody mary's and breakfast. I'll probably have some variation on this for my 30th in August which is also tentatively planned for Dublin, Ireland (because that's where the redheads are) if you're interested.
I moved to Baltimore in January, one of the few places I've lived since I graduated high school and got out of my parents house... Sacramento, San Francisco, San Diego, Long Beach, Detroit, whatever. I always try to stay in a place long enough to know the vibe and the people, shit you can't get in a week or two. Somehow I've never bothered to do any of the tourist crap in any of these places and with the exception of an undeveloped disposible camera of me cutting my hair after getting all fucked up one night like 6 years ago, I don't have pictures. This will probably bother me someday. In the meantime, I've been trying to motivate to start writing down some stories and figure I'll publish them under the title "The misadventures of keypadmayhem." I'd like to leave a record for my family to laugh about when I'm dead. Mind you, I'd probably be in more of a hurry if I thought that was happening anytime soon.
