Aloha! My name is Iolene. WOW!! Well, it's been an interesting (to say the least) past 3 years. As you can see from my pics, I was in Hawaii for 2 years. Yes, it's known as 'paradise', but a lot of the time, it seemed like a desert to me. I absolutley loved the beauty I was surrounded by, but really didn't start to enjoy the island till the last 6 mos. I was there. I ended up REALLY loving it and I miss it A LOT!! I have had much to overcome in the last 3 yrs. of my life; passed 'through' much fire, but I survived! One of my favorite scriptures is Psalm 137......'even if I go to the depths of hell, lo, Lord you are there also'....(and it really did feel like I was in the 'depths of Hell' there for a while). God truly stays with you, no matter what!
I have 3 beautiful children: Malori-22, Isaac-19, and Corina-17. I also had a son, Aaron who went home to be with the Lord at 13 months of age. He would be 18 now.
I am tenacious and persevering. I love the feeling of overcoming obstacles or doing things I never thought I could. I really want to complete a mini triathlon sometime in the near future; it's just finding the time to train for it. I work out just about every day and I am a Personal Trainer and Group Exercise Instructor. I'm a show me the mountain kind of person, but I'm also soft-spoken, caring, gentle, and sensitive; very easy going and easy to get along with. I have a great sense of humor. My Sister once told me that talking with me was like having a glass of wine because I make her laugh so much. I thought that was pretty funny! I love to laugh and have fun (who doesn't?)I don't know...some people are pretty negative out there. There are some people that are just, hmmmm, 'comfortably miserable' you could say? A long stemmed rose or a love note from my sweetheart means just as much if not more than all the extravagant gifts money can buy. I am a sincere and loyal friend. I've tried being tough, but it doesn't work. It only creates walls and makes things difficult in relationships. I love my husband very much. My desire for him gets greater with each passing day. We have been through a lot but there's always 'light at the end of the tunnel.' There may be times when we quit on God, but He never quits on us! My Interests

Let's seee....I have many facets, but I will stick with the basics.....I LOVE roses!!! Crab and sushi are my favorite foods. I love nature and Hawaii beaches (who doesn't?). I love sunsets, going to the movies and working out. I love helping people get in shape; teaching them how to eat right and exercise! I desperately want to take a cruise to Alaska, and go white water rafting! ....and I WILL in the not too distant future! Oh, and last but not least....I LOVE to shop!!! There's more, so if u want to know, just ask:)

I listen to R&B, hip-hop, Christian, some lite Jazz. I LOVE Brian McKnight and am a real fan of 'old school.' Nothing like some Earth, Wind and Fire, U know?

Television:

/paramhmmm...I used to be addicted to 'Lost', but it's gotten so confusing; I love to laugh, so anything comedic. I watch Survivor and American Idol, but all in all, I'm not a huge t.v. watcher.

Books:

I generally do not read books. Just feel like I don't have the time. I do read small books, though. 'Angels on Assignment' is awesome!! I think I've read one novel in my lifetime and right now I can't think of the name of it off the top of my head...
