About Me

"Our greatest fear is not that we are inadequate, but that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, handsome, talented and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of god. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We were born to make manifest the glory of god within us. It is not just in some; it is in everyone. And, as we let our own light shine, we consciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our fear, our presence automatically liberates others."

My Interests

My adorable puppy Jackson, travel, church, movies, reading, exercising, food, kids (as long as I can return them to someone else), football, hockey, playing games (I love Catch Phrase, Outburst, any group game really), fishing, being outside, taking Sunday afternoon naps!

My iPod has a lot of praise & worship music, israel houghton, tobyMac, Crabb Family, Carrie Underwood, Kelly Clarkson, Rascal Flatts, Avril Lavigne....and a lot of random stuff

Movies:

Dirty Dancing is my all-time favorite movie. You just can't get enough Patrick Swayze. I love Sweet Home Alabama, Diaries of a Mad Black Woman and Madea's Family Reunion, both Rush Hours (haven't seen the third one), Pride & Prejudice (new version), Ocean's Eleven, Lion King, Wedding Planner, Pirates of the Caribbean, Transformers (so awesome!), the list could go on and on...

Television:

Grey's Anatomy, The Office, Food Network, HGTV, reality shows and game shows, reruns of Friends, King of Queens, Everybody Loves Raymond, Football, and sometimes I like watching UFC with Clint (although I don't admit that to him).

Books:

I like legal thrillers and girly stuff...every now and then some non-fiction. Karen Kingsbury is my favorite author right now. I can read one of her books in a day (box of tissues usually required).

Heroes:

Rachael Ray. She eats whatever she wants and she's so cute!
