About Me

Originally from Houston, Texas, Matthew Hager is a prolific music producer, songwriter, engineer, mixer, re-mixer and multi-instrumentalist currently living in Los Angeles. Matthew has written and produced several number one hit singles, a few critically acclaimed albums, and has worked with many established and breakthrough artists including Mindi Abair (if you don't know her do yourself a favor and check her out), Mandy Moore (if you don't know her you probably don't get out much), John Taylor (If you don't know him chances are your girlfriend does), Duran Duran (If you don't know them you are probably lying) , Simply Red (One of the best male vocalists of our time), and Scott Weiland (Velvet Revolver and Stone Temple Pilots). In his spare time he writes and records his own songs that he imagines nobody will ever hear. His original song "Enough" appeared in the movie A Walk To Remember and he has received countless requests for the complete version. Hence... this myspace page. If you are trying to reach any of the artists that he works with, please visit their pages on myspace or contact their management directly. Anything else, feel free to make a comment or drop a line.
