THE STORY SO FAR.The story of ‘The Mixed Tape’ begins when Jacky [singer and guitarist] decided to form a new band with Richard [singer and guitarist] after the breaking-up of their former one for both artistic and personal reasons with the other members. Then after the estrangement of a preceding bass player, Jacky and Rich decided to invite Peo [bass], already great friend of them, in taking part to the project. Even if the band was complete for ¾ there still was a missing part: a good drummer. But fortunately thanks to the help of My $ad Melody they were able to find not a good drummer but an excellent one in the person of Martin [drummer]! With a steady line-up, a thick songwriting by Richard and Jacky and an excellent finish work by Martin and Peo, the band has been able to record its first Demo which includes a total of four songs. Actually the band is newly involved in the process of songwriting and is waiting to start a first series of shows that should begin in September 2007…
