About Me

This is my personal page I did not hire or let somebody construct it for me. I felt obligated to keep this thing going, like I started it. Solo. A little background on me I'm a studio engineer by trade and a artist as a hobby I have recorded some of the hottest groups in New Orleans under the tutoledge of Ezell Swang, I have also appeared on about 5 albums and have been instrumental in the recording of about a dozen more. The latest was the underground smash "From the Ground up" The debut release from the Beat Boyz, were I earned not only creative credit for two songs but also performed on two songs. My face is familiar to just about anybody who has recorded in New Orleans in the last 10 yrs. As I have maintain a professional relationship with both artist producers and A&R. My mixtapes have been a hot item with alot of my friends, so the next logical step was to take this thing to anutha' level. Some of the Producers on my debut album are of course Ezell Swang, the incomparable Ex-No Limit producer who has been my friend and teacher these many many years. AJ also known as 6 shots father-n-law and Mr Hakeem from the Bottom Boyz. After a short internship at Hot 104.5 and a trip to Atlanta courtesy of Hurricane Katrina, I've finally settled myself and my family and went back to what I do...

What did I forget?

Back in da "A" .... Everytime I leave New Orleans I feel like I'm leaving something. You know that feeling you get when you walk out of your house and wonder if you left the oven on, the water running...

I am never your friend (A Black Fathers Perspective)

Who has it harder, Mom or Dad, has been debated since Adam and Eve. Allow me to make a case for "Dadhood". First lets define "Dad" Typically the teen that gets the other teen pregnant is bio...
