About Me

I hate describing myself - it's like that question when you interview for a job "Why do you think you're the best candidate for the job?" Now, telling stories about the various events in my life - that I love to do, and they are usually about my family (sorry sis!) But alas, this is suppose to be about me right? Well, there's a quizzes below, so read those, and if there's anything else you want to know, then you'll just have to ask or check out my blogs to know what's been going on on a regular basis.

Music:

I like lots of different music. My CDs include Disney, movie scores/soundtracks, pop, rock, celtic, classical. I'm not a big fan of rap, R&B, or hard rock. Some of my favorite artists are Dixie Chicks, Bette Midler, Dave Matthews Band, Howie Day, Pink, Avril Lavigne, and Josh Groban

Movies:

I'm not too big into blood and gore or stupid comedy. I like romantic comedies and period pieces, some action/adventure, but I'm a big sucker for the drama. I love the remake of Pride & Prejudice with Kiera Knightley.

Television:

I love television! My current shows are: Stargate SG-1, SG: Atlantis, Battlestar Galactica, Grey's Anatomy, Medium, 24, Everwood, Gilmore Girls, Supernatural, NCIS, Smallville, Bones, House, and Survivor. I have all of Farscape, SG-1, X-Files, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and Firefly on DVD. I can't wait for the new fall series to start!

Books:

I love books more than I do TV! My favorite book of all time is Where the Red Fern Grows. Next is The Secret Garden, followed by Little Women. I love Stephen King books and Harry Potter. I like Jane Austen and science fiction/fantasy. When my brain hurts and I need fluff I read romance - Christine Feehan and Shannon Drake are my current favs.

I am Engaged!

I'd like to share the amazing news that I am engaged! On September 7th, at 11:00pm my boyfriend Chip proposed and I accepted. If everything goes according to plan, we will marry in October 2008....
