Archery, cooking, eating, travel, meeting new people, eating, baking cookies (I know dorky... what did I already tell you) and eating good food (alright, I'll settle for fattening food).

I really can't fill in this section without seeming schizophrenic. My favorite singer is James Taylor and my favorite band is the Barenaked Ladies. I can listen to classic rock all day long. Other than that I like rap, pop and pretty much anything. Not a big fan of country, but sometimes you can catch me singing away with some "my dog died, my wife left me and my mom got hit by a train" classic.
I have a movie obsession... the good, the bad and the just plain stupid. I go to the movie theater at least once a week and my netflix addiction is almost under control. I'm not a movie snob... I don't just go to see Oscar winners. My first truly awful movie experience was seeing Joe Vs. the Volcano in the theater as a child... followed by Mel Gibson's Hamlet. What can I say? It's inherited, my Mom will pay to see even the worst movie... even the dreaded Steven Seagul. My real favorites are The Shawshank Redemption, Harold & Maude, The House of Yes. I like movies that inspire me to want to be a better person, but I also like really dark comedies that make people wonder what kind of weirdo I really am.
I work in television, so I try not to watch too much since all day I am surrounded by ten screens on mute. I especially like watching Passions on mute. You don't even want to know the dialog that I make up. I am a big American Idol fan... at this point if you haven't clicked off my page, you deserve a prize. I like Dog the Bounty Hunter, VH1's Best Day Ever, Lost, Family Guy and the Simpsons. My husband Tivoed the Simpsons and said yes to recording every time it comes on... a meager 6 times a day... yeah that's a little overkill.
I love to read so it's hard to pinpoint just one or two books. Yes you can get the nerd sign ready to slap on my back.
My parents because they taught us to love everything and laugh at even the worst sitaution. Paula Deen because she can work cream cheese into any recipe. And my dog Kayle for having the distinct ability to fart and walk away before anyone notices the smell.
