He put his name out on the streets by showcasing his skills at many events throughout the United States. Successfully, Brannu has appeared showcasing his disc jockey skills on tour with So So Def recording artists, Da Brat and J-Kwon, Universal recording artist Akon, Jamie Foxxs Laffapolloza and celebrity parties for individuals such as P. Diddy, Nelly, NFL quarterback Dante Culpepper, and NBA player Kenny Anderson. He has also exhibited his skills on a number of national television appearances; MTV, BET, Pepsi Smash, The Carson Daily Show, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and Saturday Night Live.
He soon was noticed by legendary DJ Biz Markie, whom recognized Brannus ambition and determination to improve his skills as a DJ. As his supportive mentor, Biz Markie not only gave him the name Brannu, but also took him to some of the hottest nightclubs in New York City to learn how to rock a crowd. Perhaps, all the years behind the tables with a microphone in his hand, subconsciously he was destined to rock the microphone.
Currently, Brannu showcases a wide variety of sounds that can be related on either coast; North to South, and any region in between. Many say his early stages as a disc jockey has giving him an amazing start to stand alone with just a microphone in his hand. His lyrics are even more impressive. A visionary, Brannu comes to you with a style he likes to call Hip R&B. Some even say that he will take you back to the days when LL Cool J was rapping I Need Love.
