I am here for Friends

About Me

I am currently in the process of "Shedding the idolatry of Christianity for the naked authenticity of it", as my good friend Larry Handy so eloquently puts it. I love God and am compelled by the LOVE I am finding in and through Jesus Christ. I am studying Old Testament, namely the Book of Job, at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland. I look forward to what God does in my life here.

My Interests

My passions are the Bible and Music. Both are related, even though they may not be obviously linked. You should ask me about that sometime. Here's a cool quote below:
"The spell of Self-Hatred cast by moralism/legalism is broken when a Christian is no longer seduced by secular standards of human greatness and makes the glorious breakthrough into the lackey lifestyle of the Master, desiring to serve rather than to be served." ---Brennan Manning from "A Glimpse of Jesus, The Stranger of Self-Hatred"

I'd like to meet:

my maker. artists. poets.

Music:

I love music. I listen to various kinds and am open to most as long as I feel it is of quality within its own genre , but I love it if the quality transcends its own form.My Music: CLICK HERE TO HEAR ME SING

Movies:
