My Interests

I love Jesus Christ! He's the coolest! I still find it amazing that He would love ME (and YOU) so much to DIE for me! How much cooler can you get? It's pretty amazing, this relationship I have with Him. He's so neat, you can have the same thing too, all you have to do is ask. I also like to read. Reading is good for you, although I haven't been reading as much fiction as I used to. But it's all good. I dig C.S. Lewis, he's RAD! My daughter is a huge interest of mine, she's 9...I say though, she's 9 going on 13! YIKES! My prayer for her would be that she loves the Lord more than anything else, and everything else will work out. Not that she won't have hard times, we all do, but if Christ is the center of her life, nothing is hopeless, and the dark times will only serve to make her a stronger person. Music, music, music...I love so many different types of music. If it makes me dance, I love it even more...

I'd like to meet:

Jesus in the flesh.

Music:

Barlow Girl, they are rad. Flyleaf is really good too. Paul Wright, Urban Species, Salvador, G. Love and Special Sauce, 12 Stones, P.O.D, Casting Crowns, Sanctus Real, Johnny Cash, Kutless, Shinedown, Anberlin, Jonah33, Warren Barfield, I really like Led Zeppelin too...Hmmm, my musical interests are really all over the place. Life wouldn't be the same without music.

Movies:

The Passion of the Christ, Gone With the Wind, Les Miserables, We Were Soldiers, Pride and Prejudice, O Brother Where Art Thou, The Sea is Watching (you must see this, it's a Japanese foreign film, tragic, and beautiful), The Lord of the Rings trilogy, The Chronicles of Narnia - The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, Big Fish, The Big Lebowski, Kicking and Screaming, Run Lola Run...

Television:

You'd be amazed at what you will DO when you stop sitting on your butt watching the tv! (I do like to watch movies though)

Books:

The Bible, anything written by C.S. Lewis, The Case for Faith and The Case for Christ by Lee Strobel...EVERYONE should read these. Blue Like Jazz, by Donald Miller, it's hilarious! I would recommend this one to everyone as well! As for fiction, Ted Dekker is fantastic! I can't say enough good things about his writing...Check him out, start with his Circle trilogy..."Black", "Red", and "White"...three amazing books!
"If I find in myself a desire which no experience in this world can satisfy, the most probable explanation is that I was made for another world."-C.S. Lewis

Heroes:

Jesus Christ - more than my hero, He's my savior.

Would you?

Would you die for someone if you thought that by doing so they would accept Jesus Christ as their personal savior? For most Christians, I think the answer would be yes. Now...would you die for the per...
