I have a few hobbies. I have been known to hook up some pretty groovy beaded jewerly. I have been doing this for serveral years. Its freedom to get lost in glass and gemstones. Sometimes I do manage to make a little money from it, but mostly I do it for fun and make gifts for my friends. I also sing and play a litttle guitard. :) I really like to hang with my friends when I can. Sometimes we just gawk at tv, or have parties and throwdown. Sometimes downtown or out in the country and you bet your ass there is music involved, cause I have some really talented friends.

In this little world, I'd like to meet peeps to connect with and cut-up and maybe have you over to my house for a pork chop.
Music:
I have always enjoyed singing, my one natural talent...well not the only one....I am a hippie at heart and love the Dead, Bobby Dillon, Pink Floyd, you know old stuff...Janice, Hendrix, The Beatles. I also enjoy bluegrass and some country, currently I am in love with The Old Crow Medicine Show. Some of the girls I listen to are Indigo Girls, Joan Osbourne, Fiona Apple, Lauren Hill, Be Good Tanyas. I play guitar just a little and am a much better singer than picker.....You get the idea.
Movies:
Well ya'll, I don't watch too many movies. When I do it's usually a kids movie anymore....But some of my favorites are: The Wizard of Oz, Gone With the Wind (for obvious reasons), The Big Lebowski, Kingpin, Forrest Gump, Fried Green Maters.....I am really a nerd when it comes to movies. Generally I dont care for movies that are gory or freaky or what not....I just think it's bad for your spirit to watch whacked out movies. But whatever blows yer skirt up.
Television:
I usually get my tv fix in the morning. I get in a little Judge Mathis and Starting Over... I guess reality tv is for me. Definately gotta watch Big Brother in the summer, it's crucial. I enjoy comedy on BET, I get weak as hell sometimes!!!! And late nite I like reruns of Sex and the City, even without all the nudity and cussing, I love it.
Books:
I really have no particular genre that I love more specific than general fiction. The best books I read recently were the Outlander Series by Diana Gabaldon. I always have a book in the works. Sometimes I devour them, sometimes I drag my feet and it takes forever to finish. Reading is something I definately enjoy.
Heroes:
Wonder Woman, Daisy Duke, Charlies Angels....minus twenty some years....Today would have to be My Momma and my girlfriends, they are there for me all the time, through all my wierdness. I admire people who explore and strive to make the world better in some way...Astronauts and soldiers, doctors and scientists. People who are brave enough to do things I would'nt ever dare.
