The Nationalist

Go Scooby and Shaggy! We're with you all the way. Guys who drive the van...Fuck off!

About Me

I'm very shy until I get to know someone better, then I'm loud and funny and incontestably obnoxious. I love to play and listen to music: punk/hardcore, jazz, classical, a little country (Johnny Cash!), and some classic rock. Big fan of art: I recently fell in love with the Tate Modern Art Museum in London. I'm 22 and just graduated from the University of Tulsa with a Bachelor's of Arts degree in Philosophy. So I am at that daunting point in my life where I have to figure out exactly what I'm going to do with my degree. The future is looking grim! AIM - perturbedmusic

My Interests

Is it egotistical to say "myself?" I should hope so.

I'd like to meet:

Marvin Gaye

Black Flag, Rise Against, Minor Threat, Face to Face, Herbie Hancock, David Bowie, Atreyu, Misfits, Saves the Day, Thursday, Dave Brubeck, Billy Idol, The Clash, Osker, Charles Mingus, AFI, It Dies Today, Underoath, Bad Religion, Van Morrison, The Used, Ray Charles, My Chemical Romance, Brand New, Strike Anywhere, Thrice, Mates of State, The Rolling Stones, Green Day, Norma Jean, As I Lay Dying, Boston, John Coltrane, Tchaikovsky, and Beethoven is Dionysus!

Movies:

The Pianist, Frida, The Godfather, Goodfellas, Lawrence of Arabia, Mallrats, Bullit, Club Dread, Dr. Strangelove, Wedding Crashers, The Royal Tennenbaums, A Clockwork Orange, The Motorcycle Diaries, Chasing Amy, Rushmore, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, 2001:A Space Odyssey, Boondock Saints, Super Troopers, Lost in Translation, For Love or Country, Gaslight, Ocean's Eleven, I

Television:

I can't live without Entourage! The Chappelle Show, Insomniac with Dave Attel, The West Wing, and Reno 911. I've also started watching a lot of cooking shows on the Food Network. I can't help it. I'm hot for Rachael Ray just like everyone else!

Books:

East of Eden, The Birth of Tragedy, The Stranger, Resistance Rebellion and Death, and pretty much anything by Camus, Marx's On the Jewish Question, The Jungle, A Clockwork Orange, The Trial, Atlas Shrugged, Crime and Punishment, The Castle, I also like reading books in Latin, even though it takes me like 3 months to finish it. And even though Kurt Vonnegut is the one of the worst writers I´ve ever read (next to Dan Brown), Cat´s Cradle was a pretty good book.

Heroes:

Anyone who can hold a conversation for longer than ten minutes. Their numbers are quickly dwindling. I think there should be a reservation or something in Arizona or something where conversationalists breed and frolic. Unfortunately, I´ll be staying in Oklahoma.
