About Me

Myspace Layouts at Pimp-My-Profile.com / Fighting for Revolution

i teach middle school in the Bushwick section of Brooklyn, NY, which is to say i'm a student. Each day my students, friends, colleagues (b/c not all colleagues are friends or even friendly) and family teach me more about this world than any/all schooling ever did.i love the concept of justice, i just wish i could see that concept played out for real.Pinochet escaping prosecution b/c of "mental instability" is not justice. What Israel does daily to my friends and surrogate family in Palestine is not justice. Prisons taking years from sons/daughters/mothers/fathers is not justice.Everyday i try, fail and try again to treat the people around me justly.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

George W. Bush. On Bushwick Avenue. Alone.

Heroes:

Hurriyah Ziadeh (www.myspace.com/hurriyah). My mom. June Jordan. Robert Fisk. George Orwell.
