His real name was Siddharth Gautam & he was born an Aryan prince in ancient India...He came from a Hindu Kshatriya family....He was not ORIENTAL or EAST ASIAN he was NORTH INDIAN......He left his wife, child, & rich kingdom to understand & answer his questions.....He gained his NIRVANA under the Bodhi tree in Bihar, India (Same place were Guru Gohbind Singh was born)...Contrary to popular belief, Buddha was NOT against Hindu teachings. He believed in Karma, Dharma, Reincarnation, being Veggetarian, & gaining Nirvana to stop the cycle of birth. But he was against ORTHODOX HINDUISM like caste & other things that had nothing to do with Hinduism....Buddha died in Uttar Pradesh, India & his last words were "All composite things pass away. Strive for your own salvation with diligence".....There was also a movie called "Little Buddha" & guess who played Buddha.....Keanu Reeves
