About Me

.. width="425" height="350" ..Texas has always been known for doing big thangs especially on the music scene. Pick up a music magazine or watch MTV, and youll see Houston artists like Chamillionaire, Paul Wall, and Slim Thug, dominate music charts like cowboys dominate rodeo contests. Although Houston artists grabbed the music industry by the horns years ago, many Dallas artists jumped into the music arena only to get trampled like rodeo clowns. By the time the dust settled, music fans were still left asking, Will Dallas ever get up and make some noise?Well, get ready to cover your ears and make way for Young Muhammad, the Don! Hell be making enough noise to bust eardrums in 2006 with his debut single, Ride To & Po Up. This banging, new hit features Dallas multimillion-dollar stars, Big Tuck and Fat Bastard of DSR. Just the features alone guarantee that Ride To & Po Up will blaze airwaves as the summer anthem. In addition to special guest appearances, the laid-back rhythms and hood lyrics are bound to have fans bobbing their heads as they po up in the Texas heat.Young Muhammad is also expected to heat up the streets with several other hot songs which include Yall Gone Remember Me, Rap Hustle King, and Caprice Music. While Yall Gone Remember Me is a metaphorical ride which relates Biblical wisdom to the modern-day struggle, songs like Rap Hustle King discuss the routine grind of booking shows and showing off rap skills. In short, Young Muhammad proves that he is a diverse artist by demonstrating his ability to cover a range of topics on his new album,Caprice Music. Unwilling to limit himself within the narrow confines of gangsta rapper or thug, Young Muhammad says, Im like Oprah without the talk show. I discuss it all, and my music represents that real sh..t that rappers were spitting in the 90s. His gift for depicting that real sh..t emerges from his background as a graphic artist.Beginning in junior high, he and some friends started the group, Starvin Artists. They created paintings and sold them at art expos. Always up for a challenge, they took their artistic talents to the next level by attempting to paint pictures with words and voila rappers were born!Since becoming a rapper, Young Muhammad has received radio play on several major stations including K104 FM, 97.9 The Beat, and several other stations. He also performed a song with the legendary Pimp C of UGK. Also, he opened up for Juvenile & The Cash Money Millionaires, The Roots, and R. Kelly. More recently, he joined together with his original group members, The Starvin Artists, to perform a tribute song for Hurricane Katrina victims. This powerful song attracted attention from media giants, Fox 4, Channel 8, WB 33, and others. Although Young Muhammad is no stranger to the camera, he definitely better get some darker shades because his new album, Caprice Music, is definitely set to attract publicity as well as fans from all walks of life. So, look out Houston because Young Muhammad is about to establish himself as one of Texas most wanted artists. For Booking Info.
