EL TOPO IS MY HOLY MOUNTAIN

About Me

I Spit On Your MovieFilm Blog | Forums | Reviews | isoymAsia | ArchiveRegion 1 | Region 2 | Trailers

Name: ProteusOrigin Of Name: Well wanted something semi original and cool that didn't require numbers so looked at my Vhs book shelf and the Oil Rig cheese fest that is Proteus jumped out at me...plus its the name of the very cool retro X-men Villan a Greek God and the wanting to multiply computer in Demon Seed the rest is history!

Location: Pretty much your Canadian Content on I Spit On Your Movie and live in a small town of 70 thousand people.

Stats: Male/29 years old work as Manager at a Movie/Cd store.

Fave Genre: Horror,Art House and World Cinema,Spagetti Westerns,Euro Crime MY DVD's

Fave flicks: In A Glass Cage,El Topo,Alien,Beyond,5 Deadly Venoms,Cannibal Holocaust,Suspiria,Phase IV,Accion Mutante etc

Hated Flicks: Remakes of any kind....minus the Blob and Thing

Info About Self: Avid collector of all things horror including old theatrical posters, lobby cards and of coarse movies. Have a special place in my heart for Nature Run Amuck flicks and what some people call Smut Im honest and will post what Ive thought about a flick no matter what the hype and will give any flick a viewing no matter how bad I heard it was cause movies are all about personal taste and truely each there own!

Weaknesses: Totally suck at computer technology and as you probley noticed already Im not a good speller. As far as movies go im pretty well balanced but Yakuza flicks and obscure martial arts films im sorly lacking in knowledge..I blame lack of good region 1 versions even thought I have a region free player LOL

Strenghts: Not many besides my good nature! Im fairly well schooled in Lucio Fulci and other Italian directors as well as Alex De La Iglesia,Jodorowsky,David Cronenberg and Kiyoshi Kurosawa flicks and of Coarse cheese flicks aplenty.
