...and I want to support:
everything that appeals to my emotions and feelings, usually dark, often either aggressive or melancholic, sometimes strange / bizarre... quite a hell of a lot of 'em - popcorn-movies as well as arthouse-movies, even trash-movies at times.
I love variety.
I love when movies deeply touch me, but I also love to sometimes just be entertained. I love when the emotions depicted in the movie are transmitted to the viewer & when movies transmit their atmosphere. I love strange and somewhat bizarre movies.
I particularly love intense movies - movies that get under your skin, that are nerve-racking, that leave you feeling shattered!
- and all this (from "I love variety." to "...that leave you feeling shattered") word by word can be applied to my interest in photography and in any other kind of graphical art as well.

I have no TV-set & I don't need one.
I watch everything in original version, if necessary with English or German subtitles - this rules out watching almost any television here in Germany. Just sometimes I watch a movie in a dubbed version: when reading the subtitles distracts me too much from the images - in this case the second time around I watch the movie in original version, sometimes even without subtitles since I already know the story.
What I want to watch I watch on DVD.
But to name a few series I did watch and enjoy (naturally also in original version):
- Twin Peaks
- Friends
- Sex and the City
- The Simpsons
- "Faust I" by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
- "Das Parfum" [aka "Perfume"] by Patrick Süskind
- "The Hellbound Heart" by Clive Barker
- "Christine" by Stephen King
