About Me

I guess the most important thing to know about me is that I love my life. I love knowing that there is a big world out there. I don't understand people that can go to work, and then go straight home and let the TV take over their brain. I work hard, but I balance that with lots of playtime. My life is crazy, and busy, but I would not have it any other way. I love knowing that something great could be just around the corner. Oh, I also have a penchant for running with scissors.I consider myself a universal woman. I have many pursuits, like painting, writing, knitting, cooking, music....the list could go on forever.

Reading, music, art, travel, cooking, crafts, photography, hiding single socks to annoy my husband when he looks for a pair.

John Mayer, Ryan Adams, Ray LaMontagne, Marc Broussard, Teitur, Karrin Allyson, Virginia Coalition, Barenaked Ladies......I could go on forever.

Movies:

Rebecca, It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World, Pride and Prejudice, Abbott & Costello movies, Frequency, Streets of Fire (if you don't know the music in this shame on you.). Tons more.....impossible to list them all.

Television:

The Simpsons, King of the Hill, Grey's Anatomy. That's about it. I watch more movies than TV.

Books:

"E" by Matt Beaumont (funniest book EVER!). Timeline by Michael Crichton. Every book on Teddy Roosevelt ever written. Ugh....this is hard. I read a ton of books. Favorite authors are Rhys Bowen, Joann Fluke, Janis Harrison.

Heroes:

Jesus, my grandfather, my mom, Teddy Roosevelt, women that are super cool.
