Ella invade mi subconsiencia con su gran misterio. Y porque la belleza hipnotiza mis sensaciones, siento como si estuviera viendo a Dios. Just the very thought of her, gives me a sudden manifestation of the essence and meaning of my subsistence. She is the comprehension and perception of my reality, reflecting every sudden intuitive realization of splendor that comes into my life. Siya ang razon ng mundo ko, ng lahat na pinakamahal ko sa lupa hangang sa langit. Yung angel na binigay sa akin galing sa Dios. Hindi ako nabuong tao hangang pumasok siya sa buhay ko. "Pa’lante siempre" Los Macheteros-Ejército Popular Boricua ...El Maestro Vive! Independencia Para Puerto Rico! The english word "boondock" was derived from the Tagalog word "bundok", meaning mountain, "boondock" became part of the American vocabulary during the U.S. provoked Filipino-American War, a result of the Spanish-American War of 1898. The U.S taking advantage of the war against Spain, continued their economic expansion, not to offer free aid to Cubanos or Filipinos, as they sought to widen their economic grasp through conquering colonies from Spain(even peaceful Puerto Rico was invaded). The Filipino Revolucionarios declaring independence from Spain on June 12, 1898 now had a new colonizer. Resisting the American occupation of the Philippines, the Revolucionarios could not engage the American forces in conventional warfare. They had to wage guerilla war mostly in the mountains as the rugged terrains offered the most strategic advantage for Filipinos fighting for their country's independence, now against the Americans. Patrolling the boondocks became a common and very costly task for the U.S. military as it sought to eliminate resistance to U.S. imperialism. The boondocks were a contested terrain and in essence bases of resistance for Filipino's.U.S. Government Must Officially Apologize for Atrocities they commited in the Philippine-American War Images of racism / How 19th century U.S. media depicted Filipinos, Puck in 1899 showed Uncle Sam glaring at four pupils representing (from left) Las Filipinas, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and Cuba
