Ay. dis how the shit started. 3 tha hardway was originally the name of a street click that included shotty, chammy glue, and shinimo. At the same shotty and shinimo were working in the studio trying to come up with an idea for a new project. The idea was to form a super group with another up and coming rapper. After several nights of trading thoughts and many cups of hennessy, plus alot of them things the offer was presented to Mr. Mack to join the effort. To make along story short, he accepted. There were many names thrown out there but 3 tha hardway fit perfectly. Using the name was discussed with Chammy Glue and agreed upon due to his (Chammy Glue) work on a solo project and other production ventures. The aim of the first album is to pay homage to the past and present legends of south while keeping it original and showing individuality.
