About Me

How can I put it into words how much I love God! He is my Abba Father, Adoni, El Shaddai, El Elyon, my Secretkeeper, my smile, my shade in the heat of a trial, my shelter, my strength and strong tower and I can always run to Him and am safe! I am married to one of God's Men of Valor, Pastor TJ McBride whom I love SO much, he is not only my husband and my pastor but my very bestfriend for 15 years and my hubby for 10. We pastor a wonderful church in McDonough, GA Tabernacle of Praise Church www.topchurchlive.org and I am also the proud mother of 3 gorgeous and anointed children; Evangelist Ashli McBride, Prophet Andrew McBride and Prophetess Alexis McBride. I love to laugh, laugh and laugh some more. My house is a constant comedy show. My husband is funny and so are my children. I am here to keep in touch with my family and friends and to meet new men and women of God. What else can I say, God has favored me VERY MUCH and I love Him because in spite of me, He loves me, blesses me, keeps me and covers me! I am also the Founder and CEO of Shunnae McBride Ministries, you can find out more about this great ministry at www.shunnaemcbride.orgOne of my favorite scriptures comes from Philiippians 1:6 and it reads as follows, "Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perfom it until the day of Jesus Christ". This reminds me when I feel like I want to get off the potter's wheel or out of the fire that this thing is not to kill me but exalt me. Remember that the steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord. He never said the steps would not make you cry or that they would always be easy. He said that they would be orderd and yes tears will come, hurt is bound to come and so is pain, but remember it is ordered and it is working together for your good, why, because we love God and He would NEVER put more on us than we can bear! For if we being evil know how to give good gifts to our children, how much MORE would our heavenly father give us?...Selah.... My Interests

Making God smile, being an example of a Wife, Mother and Woman of God to my girls and what to look for in a Wife for my son. Bowling, reading, cooking, shopping, shopping, shopping....I love networking and meeting new Women of God, shopping, did I mention I like to shop?

I'd like to meet:

OOOhhhh, I cannot wait to see my God and my Jesus!!! Then I want to sit down with one of the baddest and boldest brothers ever Apostle Paul and the Prophetess and Judge Deborah. I would love to sit and talk to my ancestors and believe it or not, the person that invented black hair gel, I must thank them personally :):).

My favorite music of course is Praise and Worship Music, I love living in the presence of God and that is what keeps me in that atmoshphere. I love "Let The River Flow", by this guy named TJ McBride www.tjmcbride.com, Ce Ce Winans, William Murphy, Judith McAllister (whew), Myron Williams, Mary Alessi, Karen Clark-Sheard, Olevia Williams (shout out!), Joanne Rosario, Prophetess Bynum-Weeks new cd. Anything gospel or jazz like Jason Bitten, ANITA BAKER AND JOE SAMPLE!!!!

Movies:

Favorites are Color Purple, "all my life"... uh, Two Can Play That Game, Best Man, The Notebook (aww), Son-in-Law, Notebook (awww), Love Jones and Coming To America.

Heroes:

My Mom is and will always be my heroine. Only she could have done the things she did by herself. I love her and when I get rich, which will be b4 the year is out, I am going to make her quit her job and take care of her for the rest of her life. She stayed holy and humbled, told us we can be who God says we can be and because our Daddy wlaked out didn't mean that we were any less than the one with a Daddy. Anybody that can raise three kids without Welfare, TANF or child support, or a man and only with God alone, is alright with me.Then there is my Grandmother, Mother Leola Henderson is with the Lord. She taught me how to travail in prayer, how to live holy and taught me that if you LIVE right, you won't DIE wrong!!!
