Music; Dancing, dancing dancing!!! These days I dont get much chance to go clubbing but I now especially enjoy lindyhop, swing and jive. I also love Ceroc and some Latin too.Recently discovered scrapbooking and am loving exploring the creative side of myself again.I enjoy learning about the human body and the amazing way it works, just as well I am studying to be an osteopath then eh???
I like people. I love chatting to people. I would love to spend an evening with Billy Connelly, Eddie Izzard, Lily Savage, Marilyn Manson and ME................................And of course on another night...............................................THE PRODIGY!
Prodigy has to be my fave band, since seeing them in 1991 at my first rave.I think there are only two types of music, GOOD and BAD...I like to think I am into the good stuff LOL :-) My elder brothers started my love for music by introducing me to Marc Bolan, The Stones, Captain Beefheart, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin etc. Years later I heard John Peel on the radio and discovered Punk and Indie...this was definitely a turning point for me and I LOVED it. The clothes, the make up, the attitude, just being different and so much energy! I also love blues, reggae, jazz, soul... In the 90's my interests in music changed to being more dance orientated...I love oldskool, jungle, drum and bass, techno....as long as it is hard, heavy and FAST! These days I listen to a lot of music from the 40's and 50's as I am into lindy and jive but I still enjoy the new sounds from bands like the Kaiser Chiefs, Artic Monkeys, White Stripes, etc
Pulp Fiction (love Tarantino's work), Vanilla Skies, Gladiator, King Arthur, Rob Roy, Blue Velvet and most of David Lynch films... oh too many to go through now:-P
CSI, Lost, ER, Desperate Housewifes and big fave is Ultimate Fighting and any other UFC stuff, LOVE IT!
Not reading any fiction at moment so mostly anatomy, physiology, pathology, neurology...not just a geek- I am at college studying full time so do have an excuse:-)
