Rhapsody Lane was founded by guitarist Danny Ross and Bassist Mike Conrad. The two have known each other nearly all of their life and have growing to have similar taste and musical direction, the two decided that forming a band was unavoidable. The next addition was another long time friend by the name of Trevor Malone. The two knew of Trevors love for drums and percussion as his father was an accomplished drummer himself. However, despite the three establishing quickly, the band went on somewhat of a stalemate. There were a constant mix additions, Including such guitarist like Jon Lawless and Dave Godsoe. Dave was in the band for about 11 months but due to creative differences it just wouldnt work. The three were also missing a vital key to the formation of a band: a lead singer.This is when Mike and Danny approached Dylan Parker, who the two knew through family ties. Dylan was experienced with music as he had just finished releasing his underground hip hop lp "Searching For The...". He had also just severed ties with his previous band [ScratcH], so he was on the market. Dylan participated in a show with the group with an audience of about 400-500. The four knew they had stumbled on something that could work.Months passed, and the band worked tirelessly at forming their own sound. They combined all of their influences that ranged from The Clash to The Red Hot Chili Peppers, with tastes of The Strokes, The Ramones, and Sex Pistols, and the end result was a 12 song lp by the name of Clowns in a Crowd.Clowns in a Crowd is set to be released early November, and is schedualed to be recorded at the acclaimed Bova Sound Studios, which has seen many of the major bands in the Ottawa region. The lead single will be "Dead Panda" which will be Broadcasted in the eastcoast of Canada, and throughout the Ottawa area.
