Formed from the depths of East Haven,CT in 1997 some decent from the ashes of East Haven Band called Tortured Recollection.The members of this band were Mike Schupp & Alani Shaperow though Alani Shaperow's main instrument and instrument in T.R. was drums it was rhythm Guitars that was his job duties in I.V. The drum duties were given to his father Jim Shaperow which is a well respected jazz musician but wanted a taste of something a little more extreme.Mike Schupp was the bass player for T.R. but his Main instrument is guitar and thats what he played in I.V. along with bass for recording projects.Now they needed one more peace to the puzzle a vocalist and that they found in long time friend Paul Marak which his barbaric vocals and sick Phrasing was a perfect match for the off time musical writing of Mike & Alani and jazz influenced drumming of Jim Shaperow it was time to record so in 1999 they created a 5 song demo "Instrumental Violation"which is the full length name for I.V.The songs on the demo were called GLOBAL DESTRUCTION,INTERNAL DECAY,FORBIDDEN RESURRECTION,SAVAGE,MECHANICAL SPLENDER.But due to life problems outside of the band the demo was never released and the band broke up.Guitarist Mike Schupp & Vocalist Paul Marak are trying to get that demo on myspace for the world to here and might even set up a reunion show because they have never played live in I.V. due to never finding a bass player.Now for what the members are up to now.Jim Shaperow went back to doing Jazz and has recorded with some of the best names in jazz as for Alani Shaperow,Paul Marak,and Mike Schupp they went on to create an other band called"PRIAPISM"which are still around but without guitarist Mike Schupp but still are very close friends.Mike has other projects going on that are soon to come.....
