"My name is Sparky aka Rugged and I live in North West London. I began singing from the age for 8 and by the age of 13 iwas singing with a sound called Vigilante which is also from North West London. From there I went on to Java Nuclear Power which propelled me to new heights from a young age and I was soon well known on the Dancehall scene. Since then I have continued to develope my musical career both as a vocalist and a songwriter. My more recent work includes a nationwide tour 'Blues & Souls' for MTV Base, and the release of videos for my songs 'Aka Rugged' and 'Hustling Life' as well as an acoustic video called 'Change Your Ways'. I am recognised on the Garage and Drum & Base scene as i have worked closely with my brother BBC Radio 1 Xtra DJ Jada Flex creating garage tracks which he has produced."Never straying from his dancehall roots, his musical resume reads like a reggae Whos Who. He has previously worked with the likes of UK artists Baby Chan from Sun Cycle, Govenor Tiggy, Shola Ama, Keisha White, Rass Negos, Jah Mikah, The Specialist Moss, Superflex(London's most wanted), Tubby T, and MOBO award winning rapper Phoebe One and on an international scale with Kymani Marley and Buju Banton. Sparky has now come full circle and is making waves with his new R&B tracks. His latest dance floor filler 'Call Me' produced by Specialist Moss is the song that will propel him to the next level and is to be aired on cable music channels.
